It all started in a Bronx community center.

Growing up, the neighborhood community center was where my family came together for holidays, celebrations and milestones. With folding tables, folding chairs and a lot of heart, we made those rooms beautiful with whatever we had, and they held the moments we still talk about today.

I was the kid who showed up early to help set up the tables and chairs. Over time I started noticing more: how a room should flow, how to fix the thing nobody else saw going wrong, how a few thoughtful details could change the whole feeling of a night. Setting up turned into problem solving, and problem solving turned into design.

That same instinct shaped my career. As a Sales Operations Executive at Samsung, my days were all timelines, moving parts and making complicated things run smoothly. But on nights and weekends, I was building something else. In 2015, I started Anticipated Events with balloon installations, and before long I was planning weddings too.

When Samsung relocated to Texas, I chose to stay in New Jersey and go all in. Anticipated Events became my full-time job, and with it came the chance to do more with my creative side: building a space of my own, one that carries the warmth of those community rooms, designed with the care every celebration deserves. That’s Anticipated Events.
